We live in the middle of beautiful central Wisconsin surrounded by 40 acres of rolling hills we call "Divine Acres". "We" includes my husband Dennis and myself (Carolyn) and our four children Rachel 15, Kaitlin 14, Nicholas 13, and Nathan 11 and of course our Danes.

We are members of the GDCA and the Great Dane Club of Milwaukee. We go once a week to conformation classes, puppy obedience classes and enjoy participating in the breed ring promoting the breed we love, always owner handled.

I bought my first Dane back in 1979, unfortunately lost her to bloat in 1981. We owned a couple different breeds of dogs in between but had to go back to the breed we loved the best. We bought our first show Dane in 1994 from Highland Acres, Bruce and Karen McCallum. Bruce handled Highlands Shelby Girl aka: Shelby to 8 AKC points. Trying to capture those elusive majors proved to be unattainable. We bred Shelby (at the age of 3), who is our foundation bitch, and thus started our breeding program. Shelby is in the lineage of every Dane we own. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on.
